Linda Hamilton

Founder and Principle Designer

Linda Hamilton has been in the design industry for over 18 years and is known for her organic approach to Interior Design to create spaces that delight and nurture the senses. Born in Ireland, Linda grew up travelling Europe and her years abroad have heavily influenced her design style, yet she has redefined and adapted that foundation to suit our Australian lifestyle. After earning a degree in Art History from Trinity College Dublin, Linda moved to Australia in 1992 and thus Urban Edge was born. Linda has a sharp eye for colour and tone, with the incredible ability to pair the most unique design elements with a practical lifestyle, in turn creating living spaces like no other. Often found ahead of the design trend, Linda’s ever evolving style is always underpinned by a subtle contemporary classicism.  With the use of clean lines and neutral tones and blending textures and charm she creates a timeless style in both residential and commercial spaces.

Ashley Caruana

Senior Designer

Ashley Caruana was a natural complement to Linda’s big-picture vision, growing up in a small beach town in NSW, she relocated to the Gold Coast, securing her first position in an interior design firm & going on to earn a diploma in Commercial Arts and Interior Design. With 11 years of experience in the industry, it was a chance meeting with Linda that secured Ashley a position at Urban Edge. Starting as a retail assistant, she was quickly recognised for her visual merchandising style and unique design aesthetic. During the past 7 years Linda and Ashley have built a close working relationship, combining their knowledge and strengths as an asset to their clientele. With a fondness for merchandising, Ashley has an extraordinary ability to put together accessories and her passion for textiles as well as a flair for creating unique artificial floral arrangements can help you to enhance your living space.

Jodie Irvine

Jodie Irvine

Boutique Manager

Jodie Irvine is Urban Edge’s longest standing employee, building a strong working relationship with Linda over the past 11 years. Her roles have been ever changing & she has constantly progressed since starting her employment as a shop assistant when the store was in Broadbeach’s Aria building.  Jodie’s hard work has contributed greatly to the to the evolution of the company from the Oracle boutique & now to the Nobby Beach location. Her organization & attention to detail being just some of her highly regarded abilities, Jodie can always be found with a smile on her face, eager to assist both team members and clientele in any way she can.

Isabelle

Isabelle Gordon

Marketing Manager, Junior Designer & Boutique Assistant

Isabelle Gordon may be the most recent employee at Urban Edge however she has quickly become an integral member of the team. Taking on the role as Marketing Manager, Isabelle has been responsible for the stunning images & content on our urban edge style social media pages. Recently completing a Bachelor of Digital Media majoring in Interior Design, Isabelle is also working closely with Linda and Ashley on interior design projects.  Furthermore, her abilities as a visual merchandiser and her friendly demeanour have been an enormous asset in our retail store.

Phil Williams

Installation Manager

Phil Williams is another long-standing member of the urbanedge team.  Over 15 years ago Linda & Phil started working together to install interior design jobs from furniture unpacking and placement to rubbish removal and clean-up. Phil can’t be faulted when it comes to delivery & set up, always providing a friendly & efficient service whether it be installing a whole house of furniture or hanging a single piece of artwork.  He takes away all the stresses that naturally arise on install days with his can-do attitude.  He is well known for going above & beyond to get the job completed to a high standard.
