A complete renovation, this magnificent 4 storey beach house located on Albatross Avenue has been another favourite added to the collection of 2019 projects. Our brief was to completely transform the space into a casual coastal retreat, offering complete serenity and relaxation as an Australian base for our ex-pat clients. Extensive use of custom joinery resulted in both practical and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bathroom areas. Additional features such as a fireplace and mudroom in the entry, further add depth and character to the home, along with one of the most beautiful timber floors that continues to take our breath away. With high ceilings and vast amounts of space, a neutral colour palette was the preferred option to allow the panoramic ocean views to be the true focal point. Carefully selected furniture pieces, textured cushions and accessories fill each area to achieve the desired timeless feel with a boho undertone. After leaving their home away from home in the hands of Urban Edge for many months, our clients delighted reaction to their completely transformed property was simply unforgettable.
